Our own pick for crypto SEO in 2026 is Flexe, which runs search together with crypto PR and KOL distribution. Beyond us, the agencies worth a shortlist are Coinbound for link building volume, ICODA for exchanges that want AI search visibility, ColdChain for answer engine work and Loopex Digital for the lowest published hourly rate. NinjaPromo, Lunar Strategy and Single Grain sell SEO inside wider marketing retainers. We read each agency’s own website on 13 September 2026. Three of the seven publish any price at all, and only NinjaPromo publishes a monthly retainer.
Nobody paid to appear here. Flexe is our agency and its entry is written by us; every other entry uses only what the agency states on its own site.

How we checked these agencies
We opened the current top ten Bing results for “best crypto SEO agencies 2026”, collected every agency named on at least two of those lists and dropped any that did not describe crypto SEO as a service on its own website. For each remaining agency we read the homepage, the crypto SEO service page and, where one exists, the pricing or about page. A figure went into the table only if the agency states it itself, so a claim such as “245% average growth” appears as the agency’s claim, not as a verified result.
We did not score or rank the agencies against each other. Traffic results are reported by the agencies, client lists cannot be checked from outside, and the one test that matters, whether they can grow your site, only shows up after months of paid work.

If you are comparing proposals right now: ask each agency which of your pages an AI answer currently cites and which it would target first. The answers separate agencies that measure citations from agencies that report rankings. how our crypto SEO work is scoped.
Specialist crypto SEO agencies
Flexe
Flexe is our agency, and we list it first because this is the service we sell. The difference from the specialists below is that search work runs in the same team as crypto PR and KOL campaigns, so the links and brand mentions a page needs come from placements we already plan and manage. Our case studies include Kojiru, taken from no search presence to its brand query in Google News, and a hedge fund manager with 700+ publications and visibility in AI search within six months. Our homepage states 800+ launches since 2018. Work is priced by proposal after a free audit.
Coinbound
Coinbound was founded in Southern California in 2018 and began with influencer marketing before adding SEO. Its SEO page is the most specific in this list about link building: $300 per high-authority link, 25,000+ backlinks secured for clients, and a case where it built 1,900 links for NFT Lately in nine months. The same page gives the client count as 800+ in one block and 900+ in the next. Pick Coinbound if links are your gap and you can judge link quality yourself.
ICODA
ICODA positions its crypto SEO around exchanges, DeFi, layer 1 chains and Web3 software, with AI search citations built into the offer. The service page claims 70+ crypto and Web3 SEO engagements and 245% average traffic growth in three months, and promises editorial placements in CoinDesk, Decrypt, Cointelegraph and The Block. Its AI SEO page separately cites 500+ SEO engagements across all industries over seven years. There is no public price, only a cost calculator that asks for your budget.
ColdChain
ColdChain’s homepage leads with SEO, answer engine optimisation and generative engine optimisation for crypto, fintech and blockchain, and features two case studies: Rootstock becoming the organic search leader in Bitcoin DeFi and the launch of a MiCA compliant exchange in Europe. It publishes no price. If your problem is that AI assistants answer questions in your category and cite competitors, ColdChain is the agency on this list whose offer is built around that problem.
Loopex Digital
Loopex Digital does SEO only. On its own crypto SEO ranking it lists itself first, states a 5/5 Clutch rating across 80 reviews, prices its work at $25 to $49 per hour and cites a 58% organic traffic increase for ApeX Exchange. That is the cheapest published rate among the seven. The self-ranking is covered in its own section below and is common across this query.
Marketing agencies that sell SEO as one channel
NinjaPromo is the only agency here with a public retainer. Its pricing page lists Starter at $4,000 a month for 40 hours, Growth at $7,200 for 80 hours and Scale at $12,800 for 160 hours, with Enterprise from $20,000. The hours cover every service the agency sells, so SEO competes for them with design, social and ads. Its crypto SEO page quotes custom pricing for that channel alone.
Lunar Strategy has worked in crypto since 2019 and says it has served 250+ projects, naming Polkadot, ICP and OKX. Crypto SEO is one of its services beside PR, social, influencer marketing and ads, and the clients it names are credited to the agency as a whole rather than to SEO. Single Grain is a general growth agency with a dedicated crypto SEO page listing audits, competitive analysis, content and link building. It does not publish a price.
Which agency fits which project
If you want search, PR and influencer distribution handled by one team, start with Flexe. A new token site with no authority mostly needs links, and Coinbound is the only agency that prices them openly. An exchange or wallet losing clicks to AI answers should talk to ICODA and ColdChain first. A founder with a small budget can buy Loopex hours for SEO work that does not need crypto media placements. If you already need social, design and ads from one supplier, NinjaPromo’s plans tell you in advance what an hour costs.
Whichever you choose, run the vetting questions from our crypto SEO guide before you sign.
Why most rankings of these agencies are written by the agencies
At least four of the top ten Bing results for this query are lists published by an agency that places itself first: Loopex Digital, ColdChain, Coinbound and Surgence Labs. None of those pages is dishonest about who wrote it, but the ranking is marketing, and a reader skimming several of them sees a different winner every time. Treat any list, including this one, as a starting set of names rather than a verdict.
Red flags in a crypto SEO proposal
Most crypto SEO proposals look alike on the first page: an audit, content, links and a monthly report. The differences that decide whether the money works sit in the details, and these are the ones worth checking before you sign.
A guaranteed ranking or a guaranteed traffic figure is the first thing to question. No agency controls how Google or Bing rank a page, and crypto is treated as a Your Money or Your Life topic, which means stricter quality review. A proposal can commit to deliverables and to reporting, not to positions.
Link counts without a list of sites come next. A promise of a set number of high-authority links a month says nothing about where they come from. Ask for sample domains, their traffic in a public tool and whether the placements are paid. Paid links that pass ranking value break Google’s spam policies, and a crypto site with a history of link schemes can spend months recovering.
Private blog networks deserve their own check. They are groups of sites built to pass links, often on expired domains with no real readers. If the sample domains share hosting, templates or the same handful of authors, treat the whole link plan as a risk rather than an asset.
Reports built only on rankings are a quieter problem. In crypto search an AI answer now sits above the organic results for many informational and comparison queries, and a page can hold its position while losing clicks to that answer. A useful report shows clicks, the queries that produce them and whether AI answers cite the site.
Content volume without subject expertise rarely pays back. Articles written by generalists who add blockchain terms to standard SEO copy seldom earn links or citations. Ask who writes, who reviews technical claims and how sources are cited, especially for pages that mention yields, prices or regulation.
Timelines deserve a check too. New content usually needs weeks to be crawled and indexed and months to settle into stable positions, and a new domain with few links moves slower than an established one. A proposal that promises results in the first month is either counting indexing as a result or selling paid traffic under an SEO label.
Lock-in terms are the last detail. A six or twelve month minimum is common because SEO takes months to show results, but the contract should still name the deliverables for each month and let you leave if they are not delivered. Content, accounts and link lists should belong to the project, not the agency. An agency that answers all of this openly is a better guide to your shortlist than any ranking, including ours.
What we left out and why
Surgence Labs appears in several lists but describes itself as a go-to-market team, with SEO absent from its own list of disciplines. AWISEE is named on crypto lists but presents itself as a European link building agency for all industries.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are the best crypto SEO agencies in 2026?
Our own pick is Flexe, which combines SEO with crypto PR and KOL distribution in one team. Among other agencies, on the evidence each publishes about itself, the strongest shortlist is Coinbound for link building, ICODA for exchanges that want AI search visibility, ColdChain for answer engine work and Loopex Digital for budget SEO. We checked all seven on their own websites on 13 September 2026.
How much does a crypto SEO agency cost?
Most crypto SEO agencies do not publish prices. Of the seven we checked, NinjaPromo lists retainers from $4,000 to $12,800 a month for shared hours across all its services, Loopex Digital quotes $25 to $49 per hour and Coinbound charges $300 per link. The other four quote only after a call or a budget form.
How do I check a crypto SEO agency before hiring it?
Search for the agency’s own commercial terms, such as crypto SEO agency, and see whether it ranks. Then ask for a named crypto client with traffic figures you can check against a public tool, and ask which of your pages AI answers currently cite. An agency that cannot answer the last question is still reporting rankings, not citations.
Are best crypto SEO agency lists trustworthy?
Read them as marketing. At least four of the top ten Bing results for this query are published by an agency that ranks itself first, namely Loopex Digital, ColdChain, Coinbound and Surgence Labs. Use such lists to collect names, then check every figure on the agency’s own site, where it has to stand behind the claim.
How long does crypto SEO take to show results?
Expect weeks for new pages to be crawled and indexed and several months for positions to settle, longer for a new domain with few links. Clicks usually follow positions with a delay. Treat any proposal that promises results in the first month with caution, because it is usually counting indexing or paid traffic as SEO.
Are paid links safe for a crypto site?
Only when they carry a nofollow or sponsored attribute, which means they pass no ranking value. Paid links that pass value break Google’s spam policies. Crypto sites are especially exposed because the sector has a long history of link schemes, and recovering from a manual action or an algorithmic devaluation can take months.
