Combined membership is 49.9 million accounts, but only 1877K of those accounts were active in the last seven days. This page is sorted by weekly active users, not by subscribers, because the second number is the one that decides whether a post is read. Refreshed monthly.
Subscriber count is what every other list ranks on and it is close to meaningless. A subreddit accumulates subscribers for a decade and never loses them, so the headline figure measures history. Reddit publishes a weekly active figure on each subreddit page; the ratio between the two is the whole story, and on this list it runs from above seven percent down to under a hundredth of a percent.

How to post in a crypto subreddit without being removed
Most crypto subreddits remove promotional posts automatically, and many posts from new accounts are filtered before a moderator ever sees them. Read the sidebar rules and the pinned posts first: they usually say whether project announcements are allowed at all, whether links need a flair and whether there is a weekly thread for self-promotion.
Post from an account with history in the community rather than a fresh one created for the launch. Answer questions in existing threads for a while, and when you do share your project, lead with something useful to the subreddit, such as data, a tutorial or an honest post-mortem, with the link as a source rather than the point of the post.
Weekly active users matter more than subscribers here as well. A large subreddit with little weekly activity will not deliver views, and a small but active one can send more readers who actually comment. Check the new tab before posting: if recent posts sit at zero comments for hours, the audience is not there.
Paid reach is available through Reddit’s own ad platform, which can target communities by interest. Promoted posts are labelled and moderators cannot remove them, but the comments are public, so a weak offer gets criticised in front of the audience you paid to reach.
